Between the 2017 federal tax cuts and Governor Hogan's pro-growth policies, Maryland is ripe to reap the benefits from this "jump start" to our state's economic engine. Governor Hogan's "Open for Business" policies must be supplemented by strong federal policies to encourage business growth.
Some of Maryland’s elected officials have shown that they care more about party politics than advocating for the future of Maryland. It is time to elect those who will put Maryland above their political affiliation and understand that a “seat at the table” is more important than listening to the dictates of out-of-state party leadership. All Marylanders deserve representatives who make listening to their constituents their number one priority!
From heroin addiction and opioid use, to gang violence, to the prevalence of guns in the hands of criminals, Marylanders need support in their efforts to ensure that children and families are protected and safe. We must work at the federal level to bring the resources and solutions necessary to ensure that all Marylanders are secure on our streets and in our homes.

I will work as a team with other state and federal elected officials to determine how federal resources can be invested to achieve Maryland's transportation objectives.

And while school choice is important, it cannot come at a cost where profit is advanced over exceptional educational content.
